Chris Perry (musician)
Chris Perry (born Christovam Pereira; 25 November 1928 − 25 January 2002), was an Indian musician, composer, songwriter, and film producer who combined jazz with Music of Goa, Konkani music. He was known in India as the 'King of Cha Cha Cha' and the 'Man with the Golden Trumpet', and was the composer of the iconic signature song of All India Radio. Early life and career Chris Perry was born Christovam Pereira in 1928 in Borda, Goa, Borda, the second of eight children born to Agostinho and Espiciosa Pereira. Perry's family was musical and, at a young age, he entered the Tiatr (musical theater) scene, under the name 'Bab Pinto'. Raymond Christopher Perry (born December 27, 1981) is a former American college and professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons during the mid-2000s. He played college football for the University of Michigan, and received All-American honors. He was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft, and played his entire NFL career for the Bengals. Early years Perry was born in Advance, North Carolina. He attended Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, Virginia, where he helped his team win multiple VISFA State Championships. College career Perry attended the University of Michigan, where he played for coach Lloyd Carr's Michigan Wolverines football team from 2000 to 2003. James Christopher Perry (born September 27, 1961) is an American professional golfer. He has been featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking. Amateur career Perry was born in Edenton, North Carolina. He was the Minnesota high school golf champion in 1978, 1979 and 1980. Perry attended the Ohio State University, where he was a three-time All-America selection. He finished runner-up in the 1983 U.S. Amateur. Perry was named Collegiate Player of the Year in 1984. He also captured the 1983 Big Ten Championship. He won the 1982 and 1983 Minnesota State Amateur and 1984 Minnesota State Open. Professional career Perry turned pro in 1984. Christopher John Perry (born 26 April 1973) is an English football coach, former footballer and pundit. As a player, he was a defender who notably played in the Premier League for Wimbledon, Tottenham Hotspur and Charlton Athletic, as well as in the Football League for West Bromwich Albion, Luton Town and Southampton. Following retirement, Perry became a youth team coach with Dagenham & Redbridge before coming a pundit for Talksport and BT Sport. Football career Perry started his career with Wimbledon, the team he supported as a boy, and grew up within walking distance of the club's ground at Plough Lane. He debuted in the early 1990s and went on to make over 200 appearances for the club. Christopher Raymond Perry (December 4, 1761 – June 1, 1818) was an officer in the United States Navy who was appointed Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas for Washington County, Rhode Island, in 1780 and served until 1791. He was the father of Oliver Hazard Perry and Matthew Calbraith Perry. Early life Perry was born on December 4, 1761, in Newport, Rhode Island, the son of the Hon. James Freeman Perry (1732–1813) and his wife, Mercy Hazard (1739–1810). Christopher's father, Freeman, was a physician and surgeon. Perry's paternal great-grandfather, Edward Perry, came from Devon, England, and settled in Sandwich, Massachusetts, around 1650 with his wife Mary Freeman.
